Student Leadership

We encourage leadership and acts of social responsibility within our Student Leadership structure

All children at Lunt's Heath have the opportunity to suggest ways of improving the school or the lives of others. In our school we have School Councillors in all classes from Year 1 upwards who meet collectively once a month. Children in Years 1, 3 & 5 vote for their class representative on the School Council and the members then elect a President and Secretary. Members usually stay on the Council for 2 years.

As an inclusive school, we have two senior School Ambassodors who set the highest of standards. Along side them, they are assisted by House and Sports Captains who look after our locally named Houses - Appleton, Farnworth, Ditton and Upton.

In addition, we have Student Subject Leaders who support teachers in their moderation of subjects throughout the year. They work with younger children regulalry and discuss their subjects through pupil voice.

Each class have two Class Ambassodors who have the responsibility to maintaining standards within their class to discuss their learning, help other children and be fantastic role models whilst in their roles.

Further opportunities include Reading Buddies, Library Champions and Playleaders helping to support the children in EYFS and KS1 from KS2
