Year 2 Curriculum
Welcome to Year 2! Your child has now entered an important stage of their primary school experience: this is the year that will see them grow and develop as they come to the end of their Key Stage 1 journey. We work hard to ensure they are well prepared for this transistion into Key Stage 2.
Year 2 , like all year groups, has government statutory schemes of learning to follow which can be found here. Your child will continue to be assessed throughout the year to ensure the correct support and guidance is offered to ensure they reach their potential. At the end of Year 2 the children will complete their SATs - statutory assessment tasks that all Year 2 pupils sit in May of each year.
